why oh why do things keep changing just when I think ive learnt how to use the old version.?
 my pc has just updated media player which i use a lot. anyone using it? how easy is it? I am ripping a cd as i type to put on my mp3 player.. motion in the oceon by mcfly.. good hoover along to music. ( i get the housework done so much faster to music!!!)

Our daughter had a quick look at it this morning before going to work and she was moaning about not being able to find her music videos, I'm sure she'll work it out later but she wasn't a happy bunny this morning I can tell ya!  :005:

I upgraded to WMP11 - I prefer the look of it and all the features seem much the same. I've not tried ripping CDs yet though. The only thing that is bugging me is I can't find out how to put the menu bar at the top (file, edit etc).

VLC is my favourite media player though - I've yet to find anything that it can't play. I like the snapshot feature too - you can pause a video and take a screenshot.

I agree Colin, I use VLC for everything, music, videos and films.

Im a bit scared to download stuff from the internet as i dont want spies poking into my computer and leaving viruses and suchlike . am I being paranoid? is it  safe?
