Hi,
I am currently taking Hovis off the lead at the moment when other dogs are not around when I spot dogs I put her on the lead but when they approach us I let her sniff them and them her. Sometimes she jumps up at them to play other times she runs behind me. When she is off the lead I have to admit for being 16weeks old she is very good she always comes back and stay within a few metres off me. The only reason I put her on the lead is for fear of other dogs possibley biting her.
Although at the moment she interacts with her 2 big brothers (2 siberian huskies) which tower over her and she is not fased bu them at all. So maybe this weekend I will let her off the lead even when a dog approaches us. Watch this space.
