zac comes good again

flozac:
Just to let you know my Zac came beating again on Saturday and he never ceases to amaze me.

He worked hard all day in all types of cover. He received a lot  of compliments from seasoned gundog owners and he only really got a bit carried away twice. Once on an open feild he thought he could just have a little run. Then when we met a flock of sheep he thought he would go and investigate ::).  however he came back quickly and after a short spell on the lead he got back on with his work.

He only responds to verbal commands at the moment 'cos I never intended him to work originally. So over the summer I am going to introduce him to the whistle.

I have to work with Floss on her confidence around ther guns and now that little Scout is 7 months old I am going to start her basic training.

So I think I have my work cut out for the coming months.
