Spaying side effects
« on: March 10, 2007, 07:57:45 PM »
Hi,

The inlaws bitch Sophie was spayed yesterday. Today she has just slept all day and not eaten hardly at all and they are rather concerned. Is this quite normal? Thanks

A lot of dogs react differently to anaesthetics. I would expect her to be a bit perkier tomorrow - if she isn't, then I would give the vet a call for some advice.

Did they give your inlaws any other medication for Sophie?
Neneh was like this whilst she was recovering and was on Metacam.
