Matt it's obvious that whatever Molly turns out to be she has won your heart (if she is as sweet as she looks I really am not surprised) and it sounds as though she is guaranteed a wonderful home.
I am so glad because whether her breeder has been deliberately dishonest or not she is the innocent party in all of this and she is lucky to get you as an owner.
Best wisheds to all of you!

matt did you managed to get in touch with the owner of the sire??  I'd be asking for a DNA parentage test myself if the mum was obviously a cocker its easily done and doesn't cost the earth but will at least put an end to whether or not your dog has the right parents.

Could you request the help of dog lovers to contact the other puppy owners, hopefully they would have at least some details, even if they sent them a letter requesting they get in touch with you. Just a thought.

She's a beauty, but I do feel very strongly that you need to get something done about this breeder.

I am glad that Trading Standards are apparently interested, but I honestly don't understand why they can only act if you manage to find all the other pups. That sounds like a bit of nonsense to me.

Hope you can get some resolution. Preferably something which will stop this breeder doing this to anyone else in future.

She is a gorgeous puppy whatever her breeding,Matt & she's very lucky to have such a super home with you but I think I would be a bit miffed if I had bought her in good faith as a pure-bred cocker. >:(

I'll be interested to know what eventually happens with Trading Standards. ;)

IT'S THE EARS THAT DOES IT. LOOKS JUST LIKE OUR JASPER DID AS A PUP BUT THE EARS ARE NOT COCKER EARS.
HE HAD COCKER EARS FROM THE START!

hi everyone i have been in touch with trading standards and they would be interested if i can trace the other pups, which i am trying to do with adverts in local press.
Hi Matt. I was just wondering if you'd had any luck with tracing the rest of Mollys litter and trading standards.
