what have i been missing all these years??
« on: November 28, 2007, 01:40:49 PM »
Hello!

how is everyone doing?  we just rehomed our first cocker a couple of months ago, and boy i had no idea what we'd been missing out on over the years. He is amazing  :luv: He's called Dylan, he's 2 years and 5 months and is black with some white hairs on his chest and a little white beard. I'll put some piccies on when I manage to work the technology out

i've had dogs before, but never one with such a loving and cheeky way  :D he's already getting us trainined to his liking  :005:, and despite some false starts in his life, i think he's really happy with us.

someone remind me, was there a world before cockers??

Oooh now I'm confused as some of you guys seem to think he's a working coker. We were told by the dogs home he was decorative BUT he has a real chase insticnt (as we have discovered on walks a few times  >:D -  - we've enrolled in dog training now!) and we came across a shoot while we were out walking last weekend and he instinctively new what to do - in fact the shoot organiser reckons he's better then his own dogs and asked us to come back this weekend!!!

Trouble is, we didn't get any of his papers when we got him so we can't trace his breed line (RSPCA destroy all pedigree papers I understand) so I guess we'll never know. We love him whatever he is :luv:
