touch pads!
« on: January 05, 2008, 12:26:38 AM »
Hi, just wondering how many of you manage your laptops with the touch pad and not the good old mouse! I'm finding it really hard work even though ive adjusted settings , i think i may have to resort to a mouse. What do others do?

I find it alot easier than the mouse!!  :D

Have you adjusted the speed? That makes alot of difference!

It just takes time to get used to it.  For work purposes I have to do a lot of cutting & pasting and moving text all over the place and found a remote mouse much easier.  HOwever, now I never use it.

I use the IBM laptop which has a choice of touchpad or tracking point and I tend to use the tracking point all the time

I use a tracking point or nipple as it's also known. I never got on with the touch pad..
