Most of my dogs' names start with a J.  I have Jake, Jiggs,  Jazz.   My favourite J name for a cocker dog is Jolly.  (I have read "The Forsyte Saga" many times with its Jolyons and Jollys!)

Definitely loving Sawyer, although being a massive Lost fan I would.  How about Hurley or Jack.....

One of the little boys from the litter we have chosen is going to be called Ralph.. brilliant name for a cocker!

We had such trouble naming ours.  We waited until he was at home for a few days to see what he suited. That drove the breeder mad who was desperate to know what we were going to call him.  We ended up with Reggie.  We are hoping to have a Fern later, so we can have Reggie and Fern like the Radio 1 Chart show djs (you can tell I have children).  Our last dog was called Marmite, and I was determined to have a name that didn't draw too much attention when shouted in the park. It did suit him though.

We alway's said that if we have a boy dog then the 3 names to choose from were:
Billa - as in Billabong as we have a girly called Roxy we named her after a surfwear range (sorry it's a girl thing :005:)

Monty or Freddie as in  - Monty Panasar and Freddie Flintoff the England cricketer's - OH is a huge cricket fan (that would be the man thing of course :005:)
He did ask for Rooney, but that was a big NO! there has to be some kind of compramise you know! >:(
The cocker spaniel.........It will leave paw prints on your heart which will remain with you, Forever!
'Roxy' (Stellenbosch Demeter)14.06.07-01.10.19 - Forever loved & missed. xoxo
'Milo' (Laurellakes Viktor Rolf) 01.12.2020-
