We're thinking something along the lines of Milo...But I've just noticed there's a cocker already called Milo on here.

I quite like Jarvis or Joe. There's probably loads of Cockers called that already though...for obviouse reasons!

I also like 'Defor' ('D for' dog)  :005:  I'll get my hat and coat!  ::)

im still trying to make a long list of names i like, dont suppose anyone can help with a name that is really cute ideally for a black or possibly golden show cocker.  Ive got a few names but only a few jump out at me so want a few more, dont want a really common or overly popular name
but then dont want something tooo bad

What are the ones you like so far cos there are loads on this thread already so could help stop people just repeating the same ones... Do you like human sounding names like Dave or Alfie or do you prefer more 'doggy' ones like Deefor, Scooby etc.?

I love-
Wilson (obviously!!)
Dave
brian!
colin!
marley
harry
and chancer (as this is what most cockers are!!  :005: )

I love Dave too as we have one. Colin and Brian sound funny for a dog and so I love them too.
Chancer- very true- in fact Dave's Kennel Club name is Fanciful Chancer. Suits him.

I also love Dennis.

From those I like Alfie (obviously!), Bailey and Seth. Zeke reminds me of something one of the banjo players from 'Deliverance' might be called... It brings to mind a certain type of American man who probably has a brother called Festus  :005:

A few boy names I like are Riley, Harris, Rogan and Finn... they were all on the list when I was naming Rodaidh. My next two boys will probably be Harris and Finn but that's gonna be a while so you can have one of them if you want  :lol2:

i suppose it depends when i start visiting breeders etc which one i totally fall in love with and what he looks like, but i think the ones top of the list at the moment are :
Alfie, Bailey and Seth, the reason for the name zeke is that josh hartnetts character in the faculty is called Zeke, :D it took me like an hour to decide on my rabbits name when we got her and that was while we were looking at her so...im guessing its going to be just as hard!

I like human sounding names, hence Eric and my french lop Big Eddie.
Others on my favourites list (you know the list for the next one that OH said you weren't getting) are Stanley, Jeremy, Freddie and Frank.
Good luck, you'll need it
