Beinghome checked today (Wednesday).   Am very nervious, house tidy, everything put away, cups out on the side already - anything else I need to do?  Can'tthink about my holiday until after home check.    Please wish me luck!!!

i hear a good choccy bikky with a cup of tea/coffee is a good start with the homechecker  :D ....and don't worry about the house at all.  If your house is a little messy (to me anyway) it means that you won't mind muddy pawprints and hair and dog toys everywhere  ;)

Home check went okay.  No choccy biscuits unfortunately, on that all important diet for the holiday.  Want to lose a stone before Friday!!!!  As a close friend of mine said 'find a stone on the beach and throw it away - then you have lost a stone'!!!

I just thought I would shout from the rooftops to say that gorgeous little Holly from fourpaws is mine.  I am so happy.  Unfortunately I have to go away for a week's holiday so cannot collect her until 25 February but Caroline, my daughter, is driving me to collect her.  I am off first thing in the morning to buy a bed and lots of nice things for her.  (Plus a crate to settle her in).  Never crated a dog before but certain people have told me it works so will give it a try.  At least she will feel safe in the car.  Any suggestions to which I need for her.  will post pictures as soon as I can (having learnt the art of attaching pictures from my clever girls).  Keep you posted.
