Leah & Lola from Bournville
« on: April 11, 2008, 03:15:24 PM »
Just a quick hello from Leah (Owner) and Lola (Blue Roan Cocker) We are new to this site, and thought that we would be polite and say Hi!!!
We stumbled across cockers online in the most unconventional way!! It was on the planned day out (Looked like the Cocker Spaniel convention) at the Licky Hills a few weeks ago. Not sure of anyones names! But everyone was lovely!! I remember Bruce the Blue Roan, and didn't get his owners name!! But everyone was really friendly! Cant wait to see when the next one will be!

Lola was brought out of the paper, by my husband..... When we went to see her, She had been so badly neglected I didnt even recognise her as a cocker.... I had to have her. We took her straight to be groomed, and she had to be bare bladed back to the skin in parts, the mats were that close :( She had Kennel Cough, fleas, and infected gums, and teeth. But 5 months on, She is looking healthier, happy, and a beautiful again!!! (Bless her!) She didnt have the best start in life, But she is making up for it!!!

Love from Leah and Licks and nibbles from Lola x x

Hiya Leah,
Welcome! I was on that walk too  unfortunately I didn't talk to too many people cos I actually couldn't breathe!!  The hills were a bit steep for me   Lovely to see you online, I actually live about 2 miles from you, so we'll have to have a mini meet one day.  ;)
Tilly. Forever remembered

About time you joined up - we have been looking out for you, Lola has kind of already been introduced in the photos - here http://www.cockersonline.co.uk/discuss/index.php?topic=41403.0

and saved this one for if you signed in http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i180/jaspersmum/COL%20meets/9fc1a650.jpg

I'm the one owned by Jasper (the Orange roan who'd had the 2 homes in 9 months), Louie (the one who kept dissappearing in the under-growth) and Heidi the gold pupster (well one of the 4 on the walk)  :shades:

Hi and welcome.

Poor Lola what a horrible start to her life, so glad she has a loving home with you now. I'm sure she will reward you with years of cocker cuddles and kisses  :D

Enjoy the forum.
