is a 12week old ready to learn heel? recall is good,sit and stay is good.any tips

In a word, yes! The sooner you start the sooner they learn not to pull! Not that all mine heel well....  ph34r

I think most people train heel by keeping a short but slack lead and as soon as it tightens you stop and bring them back to your side before starting again. Very slow progress but keep it up for a few weeks and it'll sink in....hopefully

Keeping slab of liver in your pocket will also help to keep them by your side!!  :shades: :lol2:

We take a tube of squeezey cheese with rocky and he gets a lick and a click for being at our heel....slow but its working!
