I'm very proud...

...Of our boy Harvey!

I took him for a walk at our local country park yesterday afternoon.  Previously Harvey's only paddled in puddles and at the edge of the lake, this time he took a huge leap forward and went in up to his belly! 

I threw a stick into the shallows and he went in to retrieve it.  By the end of our walk, he was running in and out of the water and even had a bit of a swim (for about 2 foot).

He's only just turned 13wks old on Monday, it's amazing watching his confidence develope and grow.

30 mins and one very wet dog later, we were on our way home for a bath.

Can't wait for the water to warm up a bit this summer, I can see me having a swim with him!

I am scared of Alfie jumping in ponds  ph34r I would be happy if he had water wings on.  :005:

My last boy had a life jacket for the beach  ph34r but he was elderly.  ;) 

I must loosen the apron strings.  :005:

What a gorgeous wee poopie dog!

Maddi has shown no interest in water at all, might take her to a nice quiet bit of the Nith and see how she goes, Murphy thinks he's an olympic diver!!
