Booze Hound
« on: July 16, 2008, 05:57:23 PM »
I thought that I would lighten my mood by telling you what my little treasure got up to last weekend before his op on Monday.

I had left him with my MIL while I went out shopping because knew I would be a while. He had somehow managed to remove a bottle of alcopop out of a box in her utility room without breaking it, but not only that he also managed to get the lid off (the kind that needs a bottle opener) and spilt it on the floor and drank about half of it. He was a little spaced out when I collected him and he spent the afternoon sleeping off the effects but only after he ''damped down'' on my side of the bed  >:D Typical bloke a bit to drink and forgets where the toilet is.

Girls are naughty too, OH made some homebrew once and when we left Jasmine for a couple of hours she managed to twist the tap and drink some of the contents that went on the floor...

At least Eric is starting in the same way any self respecting teenager would....

i'm totally clueless - is alcohol bad for dogs? reason why i'm asking is because at a bbq recently cassie was sniffing out empty glasses and i was worrying, a friend of mine said his dog had the odd occasional small glass of beer and he loved it so it would do her no harm

Millie spilled a bottle of becks in our living room at the weekend and proceeded to try to drink it while we ran round clearing up! (Me thinks she did it on purpose,  ph34r whenever OH is holding a beer, he has her full attention!) Hmmmm... 1st puppy training class tonight, wonder if we can take beer instead of treats.....  :005:

Roxy loves beer! OH works for a brewery so its the only thing guaranteed in our house!!

She drinks it out of the pint glass! has been know to steal about half a glass when OH back was turned and then run off when he noticed, straight into the door frame  :005:  ph34r

I have seen alcohol free 'dog beer' in PAH but bet its not as good!

Horses drink beer so it can't be too bad for dogs can it?! - Hope not!!
