Hi we are new to COL

Having thought about getting a dog for a couple of months J J finally arrived, he is a 18mth Cocker boy who we rehomed from a marriage split, me and OH were a bit wary about getting an older dog but what a fantastic decision it was. J J has a fantastic personality and has settled in extremely well, he does have one obsession though he does not like the doors shut in the house when me or OH is not in the room, he has his bed at the bottom of the stairs but very quickly learnt to wait till we are asleep and can hear OH snoring and then very quietly creep up and sleep outside our bedroom door :D. We have only had him just over a week but it feels like he has always been here.

Hello and Welcome,

J J sounds just lovely!!   :luv:  

We have Poppy who is also nearly 18 months old and is as we speak doing a mad dash around the house cos she has had her legs washed after a walk....  :005:  

You will find this forum really helpful and I've learnt so much about the breed and dogs in general and there are always lots of lovely dog photos to swoon over as well  :luv:

Cant wait to hear more about J J (Does J J stand for anything?) and I'm sure you could not be without him now already!

Unfortunately the name J J came with did not suit the kind sensitive loving dog he is so my son chose his name (why oh why did I let him lol !!), apparently it stands for Jack Joe as my sons name is Jack & his best friend is Joe but to be honest he responds to any name we call him !!
