Hello we are new..

Im Leonie mum of Alfie who is 13 weeks old..have just discovered this forum after looking for help with my new pup!!
I have 3 children and am finding it very hard having a 4th...hehe.. :lol2:but im loving having a doggy...silly question but how
do i know if my cocker is a show or working dog...i think hes a show dog?? help?? thanks for any replies.

Hi and welcome. Im owned by Purdey who is a 6 month old Blue Roan with Tan cocker.

If you look at Alfie's pedigree, you will probably see either some SHCH (show champion, I think) or FTCH (field trial champion) which tells you he is a show type or working type.

Judging by the tiny pic of him, he looks like a show-type, but if you post some bigger pics, it will give us more idea  :D

We have Poppy a show type golden girl who is 17 months old - they do get easier honest  ph34r - but puppies are sooooo cute  :luv:

We need pics of Alfie to coo over.... :D

hello welcome, we def need some more pics of him  ;) ;)  :blink:, from your avatar pic he looks like a show type but its quite hard to tell so more pics please , you will get any advice you need on COL   he looks gorgeous  :blink:

If you post Alfie's pedigree on the Genetics & Breeding board we might be able to tell you if his full show type or working type or both and you never know some of his littermates might be on here  :D
