Hello
« on: June 29, 2004, 12:08:28 AM »
My name is Zave, which is sort of why I chose the forum name, i'm 16 and currently waiting to start my first year at Rodbaston College. I originally came here for information on Cockers, but then I made a mistake with my familys current dogs so used the other breed section  before introducing myself
My dad has only ever owned male dogs, and then only ever terriers (Bull Terriers, Staffies, Jacks) and is quite adament that in this house he'll only ever allow a terrier, which is why we now have Chip & Emily. He is sort of old fashioned in his attitude towards dogs, so I doubt i'll be looking to have my own dog whilst I live here, but it's my mother who was originally interested in Cockers, so naturally I decided to research them.
No one I know personally has a Cocker, although there is a girl in sweden I occassionally chat to via AIM who has a very beautiful girl, which did a lot to keep my interest up.
I'm not sure what else to type, it seems very ... strange, I mean to be writing an introduction about myself to a forum as i'm not much of a chatter.

Hi again, sorry for not replying sooner. Thank you for the welcomes, and yes mums do have the best taste  :D

Colour wise i really don't mind, at dog training I saw a beautiful blue roan but personally I don't have a preference, at least not in colour. I like to think the dog could work, if given the chance, but whether that effects the choice I make in the end I don't know
