Hello from Holly's new Mum

Hello Everyone

My name is Sal and I've been pointed in this direction by Rhyannon from NESSR who recently posted about Holly the blind Cocker who had been abandoned on the streets to fend for herself  >:D >:D >:D

Well, I am Holly's new Mum and Rhyannon has told me about all the wonderful people here who have supported Holly and NESSR, so I wanted to come along and say a HUGE thankyou to everyone for all their kindness  :luv:

We are collecting Holly tomorrow and are very much looking forward to spoiling her rotten  :lol2:

I also own another Cocker, Ben, he is a failed foster from Many Tears  ::). He is around 7 and came to me with Mange, rotten teeth, and an anal tumour. After getting him through all that I just couldn't bear to let him go  :005:

Then there is Minnie, my rescue GSP. A nervous girlie who is just wonderful.

I also have a CKCS called Oscar, who is a very big dog in a little body. Ball obsessed, he would run the fields all day long flushing out anything he can.......hehe.

I am staff on a very busy rescue forum where we deal with everything from arranging transport runs to finding fosterers and homecheckers for various rescue's. We also spend alot of time helping the poundies into safe rescue spaces where they can get a thorough assessment before being rehomed.

Am looking forward to getting to know you  :D

Hi and welcome to COL. Really pleased to hear that Holly has a new home for Christmas. She's certainly landed on her paws with you :luv: :luv:

A huge welcome Sal and big hugs for giving Holly a loving home. Quite a few of us were moved to tears by her story, it really showed the lowest in human behaviour  >:D
We were delighted when we heard she was being homed! We hope to see lots of pics and posts about Holly and your family  :luv:

oh my.....Minnie is even more beautiful than I anticipated *thud*

You have a really lovely family of dogs, they are all gorgeous and look real characters  :luv: and Holly looks like she'll fit in beautifully  :luv:
