hi there everyone , im new to this kind of thing , this is the first forum ive joined.
i came accross this site while searching the net forcocker spaniel puppies!! i dont yet have a cocker spaniel but im looking to buy one asap.
growing up we always had german shepards , but i have decided that a cocker spaniel would be more suited to my family with 4 children (rebecca age 5 , sarah age 3 , joseph age 22 month and chloe age 13weeks ) as the house isnt big enough for a shepard!!!
im hoping to find a new addition to our family soon , then i will add some pics !!

Blimey sounds like you have your hands full already.    If you read the posts on here you will see that a cocker can be quite a handful too - I hope you are ready for it

Welcome to the forum  here you will find lots of friendly advice. I am owned by 2 Cockers and 1 Cavalier. I show both breeds and breed the occasional litter when we want a new puppy to show. I have a 3 year old son and Childminder to 2 babies under 1 so have a fair idea of what you are letting yourself in for  !
Try to read and learn as much as you can before taking the plunge - you have come to the right place! And be prepared to wait for the right puppy.

Welcome to the forum    Please take your time, choosing a very reputable breeder.  It might mean being patient and having to wait a wee while.  Cockers, sometimes aren't the easiest dogs to own, and puppyhood is challenging to say the least    With 4 children, 5 and under, I personally would wait a little while  but good luck anyway.

Hallo your welcome to C.O.L. I have Jaffa orange Roan only one week here.
  stay with us you well be well informed by the time you get your puppy. As i found while I was waiting for Jaffa what is not known about our  doggies is not worth known.
 The advise to where and how to go about it.
My family are grown up now but I did have Kids and pups
together, the all were pups together.
