Waving from the IOM
« on: April 04, 2009, 06:04:17 PM »

Hey :), joining the forum from the lovely Isle of Man, as from my name you can tell ive got a lovely black with white bits cocker :), hes called joey and at this moment in time is 5 weeks old and he loves me to bits lol (well he better do :P). He isnt the first cocker in our family my parents have a black, called Taz and he suits the name and my sister has one called Belle, who is the proud mum of Joey and were also keeping a tri coloured from the litter called Suki, since Joey is my first baby, im hoping you can all lend me a hand i think its going to be a learning curve. I currently work in a office, thankfull Belle is home all the time and if i need to i will be bringing Joey over to my Parents where my dad is retired so home all the time. We have loads of walking places over here and i tend to do alot of cycling in plantations where Belle loves to run after us and i hope Joey does too, we also live around 5/10 minutes away from a beach. Kinda dont know what else to say apart from you will be seeing alot of us on here :)

Thanks

Nessy xx :)

Welcome to COL.

Can't believe your parents have a Black Cocker called Taz - My Taz is also a black cocker (as suits the name!) also - although for the first 18 months of his life everyone called him "tazmanian devil >:D".  I haven't heard of a dog called Taz before, let alone a black cocker!

Hi Black Taz :D wow, how random is that i always thought his name was weird, and hes slightly a rescue dog, a guy at my sister's office owned him, and his mum had just thrown him out so he was moving into a flat couldn't look after him and as were a family that will take anything lol, he asked her and we thought he sounded perfect (As our basset hound was starting to get really old and couldn't go for long walks any more, sadly hes not here anymore :() we trialled him for a week and viola hes still here lol, and very attached to my dad :D.

Hello and Welcome! Can't wait to see some pics of your little man  :luv:

I currently have a 2 yr old blue roan cocker (Dave) and a 4 yr old Weimaraner (Normy) and my other half is also from the Isle of Man! He grew up in Peel right on the sea front - his Dad still lives there, so I will be visiting one day!

Enjoy the forum  :D
