Coco is a supermodel I can feel his ribs and he has a lovely waistline its just that he has a lot of fur that makes him look fuller.

He went from a poggy 6th month old to a slim Jim, he never stops 24/7 my vet considers him to be in fine condition.

I think you must take into consideration the amount of exercise they do in a day.

Just looked at your photos, that just how Coco went, I wish I could get rid of weight so quickly.

Just to keep you all posted, Ozzy has gone down hill a bit today and has been sick a couple of times as well as diarrhoea still. The poo sample results are back tomorrow, but we have rang the vet today as we where getting a bit worried, and he is going  in the morning to have some blood tests.
Fingers crossed.
Sue.

Goodness me...I think we have the first giant cocker on our hands here - Jasper is 13 weeks and is 8kgs already!!! now i'm paranoid we have a lab in a cocker suit!

His brother Charlie was massive though - 18kg and about 17" if not more tall!

I hope Ozzy gets better soon - he is gorgeous  :luv:

Hi, just an update, ozzy went for his blood tests yesterday, but  will have to wait till Monday for results, poo results still not back either.
He seam to have picked up yesterday, we fed him as normal no poo or sick yesterday, had one this morning though which was as a bit soft.
Will keep you updated on Monday.
Many thanks for your concern.
Sue.

The vet has been on today and some of the results have come back.  Apparently Ozzy has campylobacter virus and will be treated with anti biotics.  They're hoping that this will clear it up, but the vet suspects that the virus is actually an underlying problem for something else as there is a problem with Ozzy's white blood cell count.  Anyway, we're going to try the antibiotics and see what happens.

BUT - the great news is that Ozzy is obviously feeling so much better - he's been a lot happier these past couple of days, seems like he's getting back to his normal cheeky self!!   Which has got to be a good thing...... :005:
