Poorly leg - off to the vet..

We are off to the vet this afternoon with Sweep.  She loves sitting on our garden bench with us and we always put a blanket on it as it slatted.  OH was with her this morning and yes of course the blanket slipped and she caught her back leg as she was jumping down. :'( :'(-ouch ouch.

OH rang in a state as he had to go to a lunch time meet would I go home to see how she was and if I thought anything was wrong to make an appointment.

Well she is definitely limping and is very clingy wanting tummy rubs  :luv: although we did a gentle walk up the garden she was obviously in some pain as she kept sitting. Oh what a worry!!!!!!!!

Please can we have some good COL vibes that is no more than strained muscles, ligaments we are so worried that she has broken something.

Positive thoughts from me and William. Hopefully it's nothing major and some anti inflammatory, rest and TLC will sort it out.

Sending you positive thoughts that it's just a sprain - they are such a worry when they hurt themselves - hope the vet sorts it all out and Sweep gets better soon  :blink:

Poor Sweep :luv:. Brodie hurt her leg a few days ago and it turned out to be a sprain, so I have everything crossed for you that Sweep gets the same diagnosis :luv:

Thank you for your kind thoughts. 

Well the vet had a good feel around Sweep's back leg and she didn't think anything was broken which is really good news
Anyway she gave her an anti imflammatory jab and we have got some metacam tabs to give tonight.  BAsically no mad running about (Ha Ha) On lead walks for a few days and she how she is on friday.  If not completely better we have got to go back and they will x-ray.

Sweep is  a lot brighter this morning and went on patrol around the garden as usual  :005:  So hopefully nothing worse that nasty sprain.
They do give us worries don't they ;)

Glad it was good news at the vets, sending positive thoughts that no further treatment is necessary ;)

Glad the vet doesn't think it's anything serious :D. Good luck in keeping Sweep quiet though :005:
