I have some really exciting news to tell you all - and I just can't keep it to myself.
After a lot of discussion over the weekend AND an unexpected puppy becoming available we are now going to be getting another blue roan cocker spaniel - he comes home in August.
I first contacted the breeder a while ago regarding another cocker puppy. When her bitch had puppies she put our name agains't a blue roan boy. A week later my husband was told that he was being made redundant so I had to inform her that we were no longer able to have him. Luckily my husband was informed that there still was a position for him albeit in a different area of the company. I contacted the breeder who said that the puppy had now got another forever home but she would bear me in mind if anything else became available. I had an email yesterday to say that a boy puppy - and still a blue roan - was now available.
I have just spoken to the breeder and his new home is going to be ours.
I know I must be mad AND Gabby is only 8 months old but I just couldn't resist. Gabby is such a laid back girl (hopefully this won't change
) and I think she would really benefit from having a friend.
I am so so excited.
