We all have our own little dreams and mine is to find a dog that trains itself cleans out its pen and cuts the grass,

Its very comforting that the majority of you took my post as it was intended.

Tonight was my training evening and a man came across from Lincoln to train,  he brought 2 Cockers they were at different levels of obedience but they were very nice dogs.  Its good to see a really fast cocker hunting trough the grass for its retrieve.

Im looking forward to getting mine.

Hi DLK, been reading your threads with interest, Did you previously release a video where you were training Springers?  I remember watching a dvd a while ago I borrowed from a freind and I kinda think it might have been you in video. May be wrong though. Anyways good to have someone like yourself on COL. Welcome.  ;)

John.

welcome to COl,  dont let the madness put you off.
we are a widespread bunch and all have our wee quirks, some folk have their ways others have theirs.
youll get to know us all eventually.

I live in the far far north of scotland ( sutherland) in a wee rural village where luckily for me working cockers have been for over 30 + years. ( so long I cant remember how far back but going way back  my grandfather had a working cocker following WW1..looked a bit different from todays ones. solid liver long and low. flat head long full ears)
we are surrounded by sporting estates.. I trip over gamekeepers on a daily basis.  :005:
I have 2 working cockers at present and a springer cross cocker. I had my first working cocker in 1982  :luv:
 anyhoo welcome. ;)
