We seem to have loads of sweet chestnuts falling into our garden at the moment and Sweep seems to have taken a liking to them! we are trying to sweep
them up but its a bit of a losing battle at the moment
She will pick up the prickly seed pod (ouch) and proceed to prize it open and eat the sweet chestnuts inside.
Does anyone know if they are ok? - I know that horse chestnuts (conkers) are bad for dogs but not sure about the Sweet variety.
