If we have no success before the weekend then I'll be going over for both days to search. an pick you up on the way Jenny if you are free. It highly unlikely we'll just happen to come across him so getting sightings of where he is are the most important thng just now. I've been bubbling away on and off all day. He was supposed to be coming to stay with my parents  :'(

I'll join you for the morning shift on Saturday. Need to be back in Stirling for 3 but still gives a good 6 hours.
The reason dogs have so many friends is because they wag their tails instead of their tongues.

I can't make it through to Glasgow again tomorrow as I have work to do plus a college essay due in on Friday which I need to tweak, tidy up and reference etc. but if he's not been found by Friday (although fingers crossed he will have been) I can head through again then, although without a sighting it's hard to know what to do as you just have to pick an area at random and he could be 10 miles away from there :-\

I feel so helpless down here in London.

Is there anything we can all put onto our Facebook/Twitter etc pages - you never know who may see it?????

The poster is good, but he no longer has a tag on as his former owner took it off yesterday, he is still wearing a collar though. He also had a red slip lead on, and I looked everywhere for it, hoping to at least find that, but didn't.

It's so difficult to know where to actually search without a sighting, I noticed the woods are directly under a flight path, and when he was staying here he was scared of loud noises, so possibly would have gone further away from the area. The West Highland Way starts near there, so he really could be miles away by now. :-\

I hope it is OK - but I have just put the poster on my facebook page. I don't know anyone in the Glasgow area but maybe some friends or friends of friends will do.

It is worth a try.

I've been looking at the area on Google Maps and there's quite a few golf clubs about - have they been given posters? I see what Nicola means about it being a needle in a haystack :-\

I don't know no any one in Glasgow but have posted to my face book in case any of my friends can pass it on. I will also see what I can do to hound the Radio station suggested!

Here's to good news tomorrow!

Also just sent a message to Radio Clyde through their website - hopefully if enough people hound them we may get him mentioned! Here's hoping!!

Don't know if you have any posters up here but had this reply on my facebook:

"You should put a poster up at Easterton Stables (Mugdock Country Park), most of the riders drive through Milngavie from Glasgow to get there... hope you find him, good luck x"

Am taking a laminated poster to the Fort William end of the West Highland Way tomorrow-some folk walk top to bottom. And will contact WHWay walking companies and the accommodation they use too.We have to hold onto the fact that he has survived with very little in the past-and he has started off on this journey a fit healthy wee dog...

OMG how did I miss this  ph34r :o Poor Lance, I can hardly believe it  :o I can't really do anything to help from such a distance, but just want to wish everyone the best of luck in their search for him. How awful that he's missing after only just starting to experience some love in his life. I pray to doG that he is found soonl

Have tweeted the poster to all famous people on twitter with thousands of followers asking them to pass it on including Stephen Fry. Long shot, but that might work. I have also emailed my colleague in Scotland (who is from Glasgow) to pass the poster link on to everyone he knows in Glasgow. Will contact the radio station too now.

My friend teaches through there so is going to put posters up in the school and ask the teenagers to all keep their eyes peeled.
