Hi,  Now forgive me if this is a silly question,  I hadn't worried about it until I read an old post...  We collect our Chocolate Working cocker on friday,  ( cant wait!!!!)  When we met him at 5 weeks he had blue eyes, I've been told that most dogs are born with blue eyes and that they will change when he is around 12 weeks. I was quite happy with this,  (the breeder is well known in the gundog world) then I was reading some old posts on hereand came across a posting on blue eyes,  making reference to probelms in later life,  so,  are we going to have problems with his eyes??!!

not sure!! we dont get him til friday,  breeder said is normal, think I just scared myself when I read a post in the geanetics bit

Why don't you make a quick call to the breeder to make sure it has not?

Alfie is a liver roan & his eye's were blue until about 12 weeks old.  This is completely normal.  :blink:
