I've just come back from a walk with Nicola and was delighted to meet the beautiful Daisy. 

All credit to you as Daisy, is a wonderful, confident, respectful, well behaved little dog who will grow up to be a fine working dog.

Be kind to yourselves and good luck in your search for your new puppy.

To do this when you love her so much must be heartwrenching for you Michelle & your family too    Your commitment & dedication to Daisy, even when complications arose, is testament to your love for her. She couldn't be in better hands & because of the actions you have taken, I'm sure you will always know where Daisy is & how well she is doing. The tears of sadness you now cry, will turn to tears of happiness when you hear what a wonderful life she is living.....and who knows, you (& us!) may even get to see her in action one day

Thank you so so much everyone   I've put the kids to bed and I have to admit I'm struggling now   can't bear to bring her toys in from the garden and put them away...

Thank you Elisa - it is a great comfort to read your words. Everything I did with her was done with love and with a view to making her the best little pup she could be and its lovely to hear that I at least got some things right! Isn't she a little bundle of fun
