My poor Keli had a mast cell tumour in the nose so they could do very little.

Thinking of you today :bigarmhug:

Thanks for all your concern. Sam is currently still in the hospital, the vet has just called to say, that part of the mass in the rectum area was an abcess, that burst when they put the needle in to take a sample and reduced the mass in size, whilst they were carrying out the tests. They also found some of the other lymph nodes in the abdoman to be swollen. We are still waiting to find out if there is any cancer or not. We will not know anything more until tomorrow. However Sam has settled in well at the hospital, so hopefully he will have a good night & will be well looked after and hopefully we will have him back home tomorrow - so we can spoil & pamper him.

Sam should feel more comfy now, that the mass has been reduced.  Fingers crossed for a good outcome.  Glad he is settled, and hope he has a good night tonight.  Thinking of you.  :bigarmhug:

As ejp says he will be feeling more comfortable now that the pressure is off. As for the other nodes - fingers crossed. Hope you all sleep well tonight :bigarmhug:

Just a thought nodes would swell if you had an infected abscess so hopfully things should be fine.

Thinking of you. Sam is in good hands and will be well looked after and will sleep so much better with the abcess burst. Just think of his face when he sees you tomorrow, he will be so so happy :luv:

I thought of you today. He'll be happy when he's home, but at least he's settled at the hospital too.
Like others have said, he's in good hands  ;)

Poor Sam, hope you are feeling much more comfortable. I remember one of my girls having her temperature taken and an abcess bursting, I've never heard a scream like it,and hers was only a small one.

Hopefully the lymph node swelling is due to the infection and that you are soon home and being spoilt rotten  :luv: :luv: :luv:
