The Worst Night Of My Life....

I'm so sorry that you had to go through such a terrifying ordeal, poor Scoobie, poor little boy, he's only a baby :(

How are your children, they must have so frightened by it all?

I can imagine how angry you must be feeling about this man and his dog's, something needs to be done about him, but at the moment just try and concentrate on Scooby and getting him better.

Sending you big hugs, will keep him my thoughts, let us know how you and he are doing.

What a terrible thing to happen, as Mary says it's every dog owner's worst nightmare. :( One of my dogs got chased out the park by an aggressive dog across a main road recently but was really lucky and didn't get hit by a car. I felt physically sick and was shaking for ages afterwards, I can't even begin to know how upset you must be feeling right now.

Good luck for little Scooby with his operation, fingers crossed it's successful.

Many thanks to you all for all your good wishes - it's really helpful having contact with you cause you can all imagine what I'm going through.  I just keep bursting into tears thinking of his little face and how he looked at me - I'll never forget that moment.

Lizzy, thanks for asking about my children - Amber (my 10 year old) is absolutely devastated, didn't want to go to school today etc. etc. but I've sent her to school to keep her mind off matters.  My 5 year old little boy just keeps saying "mummy, Scooby will be fine" - he doesn't really understand the enormity of the situation, bless him!  Even my husband has shed quite a few tears - at first he was just really positive but even he eventually broke down.

Anyway, again thank you.  I'll tell Scooby you're all thinking about him and stock up on lots of chicken (his favourite) for when he gets home.

I'll keep you posted.

How awful for you and your family, I hope Scooby mends quickly.  I would consider mentioning the incident to your local dog warden maybe they can have a word with the owner? has the owner made any contact with you to see how Scooby is?

Take care

What a shame - I really feel for you - you must be so very worried. I know how I'd feel. Scooby has youth on his side and a family that love and care for him - I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

Thinking of you

What an awful thing to have happened.  Fingers crossed that he goes on to make a full recovery.  Hope you and the children are also alright - how traumatic for you to have to watch and deal with too.
