New puppy - Oscar Brown

Had Oscar Brown at home for nearly two weeks - too busy to get on the forum!!
Oscar was born on 1st June - Dad's name is Charlie Brown - hence Oscar has a surname!!
He's a lovely chocolate boy - our first cocker. We also have an 8 year old westie - called Marley - who is getting grumpy every time Oscar comes near or wants to play - just growling - not biting.  We had hoped he would be over it after a fornight as he is used to having two dogs in the house has we have had a collie/lurcher cross and a lab/collie cross before (both rescues). I guess that time will sort it out.
Oscar's a lovely little puppy, we have been waiting for him from the breeder since April when we first put our name down for a cocker.

Hello and Welcome to COL...everyone is so friendly on here and there is lots of advice and support...Im sure as time goes by all your woofs will sort themselves out...

I am owned by Freya a blue roan who is nearly 5 months old now and I love her to bits and she is such a good girlie...just hope it lasts past the "teenager phase"  :005:

You have bought back many memories for me as I used to own a boxer called "Oscar" whose dad was called Charlie Brown...how spooky!!

Hi, welcome, we've had Bella 4yrs and Molly 3 weeks and they have just started playing together, Molly has even sneaked up to Bella when shes sleeping and managed to get cosy next to her (this is rare though). Each day there are small steps to a blossoming friendship.

Hello and welcome to COL

Oscar, what a great name. I'm sure Marley will take to him quite soon, we used to have 3 Westies, Sian, Gelert and Donna and they were all great little dogs but all different in their own ways.  Looking forward to seeing piccies of Oscar and Marley as they are mandatory here(so I'm told anyway.)

Thanks for all your nice comments.  Oscar is off to the vets tomorrow for his second set of jabs - so we will soon be able to go out!
