Hi there, just wanted to say that when I got my Odie at 8 weeks old, I was at home all day, sometimes not a good thing too as he was so used to me being around 24/7 that when I did need to leave him for the school runs (only 30 mins each time), he'd suffer very bad separation anxiety. I eventually overcome this problem (at around 19 weeks old) with lots of training, patience and time, which I had fortunately.
My point is, they are so dependent on you for the first few months that I even felt guilty leaving him for our weekly Tesco shop (around 1 hour
). I was surprised at just how people orientated these little dogs are, even though I'd read and researched the breed and my hubby had been around them all his life. Odie will still follow me everywhere and he is now nearly 21 months old. Lesley
