Hi everyone

Hi there everyone! Only just joined yesterday after being lurking in the background for close to a year   ;)
We've got a little black and tan cocker called Bella. She will be 11 months old on the 25th of september and she's the love of my life  :luv:.......well, as well as hubby and my three boys of course  :lol:
I'll have to figure out how to put a piccie on for you all to see. She is so affectionate and adorable but we have got a bit of work to do with her recall and sometimes pulling on the lead.....sound familiar anyone??  :lol:
I've got to say that I've found this site extremely helpful throughout this last year even though Bella is my second cocker. I'd forgotten what it was like to have a puppy cause my last cocker Oscar was put to sleep last year at 17 years old   :'( that was very,very sad!!
No doubt I'll be posting some questions to you all pretty soon

Hello and welcome.

We have an 8 and half month old working strain cocker and she is a sweetie. We are smitten , our first dog together and our first cocker.

yep the shady recall and pulling on the lead sounds familiar to me.  :005: :005: Alhtough we are getting there, slowly....

Hi & welcome to COL, Bella is beautiful, Im Liz and am owned by Diesel 4year old blue roan and Olli 3 year old blue roan & tan.

I cant believe you have work to do on recall and lead pulling, cocker spaniels just dont do that sort of thing  :005: :005: :005: :005:

Welcome to COL.  I'm Lizzie and I'm owned by Betsy a Blue Roan Show Type Cocker Spaniel who just turned 17 weeks old on Tuesday.  She will be 4 months on the 17th.

Welcome to you and lovely Bella. I'm sure you will find many familiar cocker traits on here, it's reassuring to know it's not just your cocker  :005:

I'm Rosie and have two show type boys - Charlie black & White ticked 20 months and we've recently been joined by half brother Dexter 13 week old light blue roan.

Bella looks fabulous.  Pulling on the lead and ignoring your recall ?    Never, It's just not the cocker style!!!!!!!
