My puppy gypsy dislocated the end of her tail which had to be amputated because he bone had started to push through....i like you was distraught, cried all day until i had her back with me, but just to reassure you that these cocker pups are made from tougher stuff and are very resilient, ollie is probably just enjoying all the extra fuss right now,..... :luv: :luv:

i hope he makes a speedy recovery, and you bend someones ear tomorrow xxxxx

:o Poor Ollie,  Have you got an Equafleece? it might be more comfortable (for you!) than the cone :dunno:  :bigarmhug: to you all.

Good shout!!! :D Well said. We have got him a muddy paws jacket. He's taken to it really well. Ollie is no longer a cone head :005:

Thanks for all your comments and wishes to Ollie. He's bursting to get out off the lead but cant let him off in case he rips the stitches.

The land is just off a public path. The railings are there to protect a school playing field. Will see how i get on tomorrow. He's sleeping now and has had plenty of chicken, hugs, kisses. I did go back this afternoon and tape up the offending spikes. When i got there I found dog hair on it and hope its not happened to someone else >:(

I have a contact at the council. I'm not looking to make a few quid here. Just want it sorted. It could have been my Eve(7yo). The vet said Ollie was very lucky when I showed him the photo.

Thanks again Colers.... Ollie must be back to him self. He's sat in front of us watching the x factor and just farted  :005: :005: :005:

Just a quick update.

Ollie is full of beans and the jacket we bought him has worked a treat.

Bury Council are going to call me back. A photographer from the Bury Times is calling round this evening. They too have contacted the council who will have to comment.

Will let you know.
