This is really good news Charlene.

Hope it all works out in your favour. If both sets of vets write to the insurance company and admit misdiagnosis, the clause should be removed from your policy.

Good luck,

Fantastic that the source of iritation has been found and that the vets are looking into refunding you

I hope they contact the insurance company for you too and get this sorted

But the best thing ever is that Disel is fit and well

Can't wait to meet him and you  :luv:

Charlene, does your vet do their own version of pet insurance?
Maybe you could negotiate that they will accept Diesel onto their own plan at a fixed monthly cost (for the duration of Diesel's life) with no exclusions.

Assuming that the vets will put into writing that they missed the harvest mites and "here's the refund", would this letter be acceptable to the insurance to have the exclusion lifted?

Great news Charlene  :D

Really hope you can get things sorted with the Insurance Company.

As I said when this was happening your previous vets should be paying you Compensation for all the worry and anxiety they caused you, and the distress caused to Diesel through their misdiagnosis. That way they may think twice before they do it to someone else!  You could always try a small claims court.  ;)

The vet wanted to see that I still had him and that he was in fact healthy and all cleared up - just left with full refund  :D they were like we will send reminders for his jags - told him that's fine but I wouldn't be back as to be honest I have lost all trust in them, and no refund could make up for the emotions I was put through and the week I had without the pup. I weighed him when he was there and he is only 12.06 kg which I thought was quite light for a 7month ish male show cocker but he is happy and healthy and that's all that matters :-D

Charlene his weight is fine & i would say on the slightly heavier side for a 7 mth male.  :shades:
Pleased you got your refund  :D
