Hello from Exmoor
« on: February 02, 2012, 06:35:33 PM »
Hi everyone.  :D
I have three young spaniels, two springer girls and a working cocker called Murffi. He is 20 months old, chocolate, and he is a rescue dog. Murffi has been with me since last summer after having had three different owners in his first year . All three dogs are working dogs and have just finished a busy season of beating, walked up shooting and rough shooting. But they are also my pet dogs and I love to go for long walks on Exmoor or on the beach with them during spring and summer.
I recognise a few of the people on here from another forum and I even spotted the breeder of one of my lovely springers posting on here.  :D
Right, I am off to read some of the posts.  ;)

Hello and welcome Spaniel04

Your dogs are beautiful  :luv:

I'm not far from you, Wellington on the Som/Dev border.  We are definitely spoilt for dog walks in this area and you are very lucky living on Exmoor.  I have two show/working cockers from the same lines, Tia who is 17 months (Black and tan) and Jake who is coming up 5 months (Chocolate).

This is a very addictive forum, but everybody is so friendly and helpful  :luv:

Thanks for the welcome everyone!  :D I actually live in the Somerset part of Exmoor not far from Dunster. And yes, it is absolutely beautiful here, especially on a day like today. The country walks are endless and it is real spaniel territory  ;)
