poor Bailey, back at the vets
« on: February 16, 2012, 05:44:31 PM »
Since Baileys vaccination on monday he has had an upset tum to say the least,Monday  evening he started and it got worse, no sickness , still playful but horrible for him and me, even couldnt get him out of his crate at 4 am on time, so awful for both of us ,Vet has given him an antibiotic  vacccine and some rehydration treatment,a  special can of meat ,  he has eaten some , i had tried boiled chicken and rice, Disarnyl paste , nothing worked so i  thought a trip to the vet was in order, I am so glad i took him,we have to go back with pooh sample tomorrow morning, his temperature is normal so thats a good sign , so hope he is going to be ok  xxx

Hi all, thank you for your well wishes, Bailey is fine,he was better by Friday evening , didn't have to go back to the vets, phew, he is like a whirlwind this morning, tearing around the house, stealing slippers, teddies, shredding loo roll, i cant wait to take him out for walks ,he has so much energy,.

oh glad Bramble was fine after her booster, its been awkward for us, Bailey had his first jab with the breeder, the second with his first owner,  when we bought Bailey our vet insisted we start over again, hes 4 and ahalf months now and not been out for walkies yet,3 jabs is alot, but still we have another one to go next monday, hope he isnt ill again after it

How come his vet wanted to re do the vacs? Seems an awful lot for such a young chap to have to go through, glad he's feeling better :-)
