Catching frogs!
« on: February 27, 2012, 08:08:54 PM »
Mollie (aged 17 wks) has just caught her 1st frog!  Luckily my young daughter spotted her before she managed to bring it in the house!!!  Will they eat these or do the frogs emit an odour etc?  She was carrying it in her mouth to bring it in  :020:.

Don't like frogs!  OH works nights so looks like I'll have to deal with these!!

Any advice...

Thanks

Ruby used to play with toads when she was younger,it did make her foam at the mouth slightly as toads produce a secretion when threatened and when our dogs put them in their mouth.......Is it def a frog? as i'm not sure if frogs have the same effect  no help at all really  :005:

is your best friend.
People laugh at me because I'm different, but I laugh at them because they are all the same.

Frogs don't have the same effect as toads, which can secrete poison.  However picking up and carrying frogs is also not a good idea, as frogs can be part of the lungworm cycle.  Maybe a good idea to make sure your little one is protected against lungworm, it is a killer.
