1st time owner
« on: August 05, 2012, 05:18:01 PM »
Hi just a message to say I have a gorgeous blue roan puppy called Archie who will be 13 weeks on Monday. Now the next bit is going to sound a bit weird but I'm worried it's going to well, Archie is my first dog and apart from the odd blip things are going really well my biggest problem is that I am nervous around other dogs. I have taken Archie to puppy socialisation and that was fine but it's when we are out and about I struggle( he seems fine). I just wondered if there was any col members near me fareham? Im afraid I'm missing something I just want to do the best for my boy.

SOrry I cannot help (am the other end of the country from you) but if you dont get any responses from members nearby why not arrange to meet up with some of the puppy class members for a walk away from classes.  Being nervous isnt a nice feeling and there is no need for it but it can be hard to combat it , especially when we want to do the very very best for our fur babies.xx Best of luck with you search for 'local' walkers

what is it you are nervous about - are you afraid of other dogs yourself or worried that they will attack Archie?

Hi and welcome from another Archie owner! My Archie was one last week and this forum has really been a life saver! I wish I lived nearer to you but I am miles away. However, my Archie came from quite near to you and I know that his Grandma lives near Wickham. If you are on Facebook you could look me up and look at my friends list - they are on there! I'm not sure if I can post their details on the forum? If not, I'll PM you. On Facebook I am Emma Graham.

Hi and welcome :) I'm in Fareham and more than happy to meet up... What is it your nervous of?  The other dogs with Archie? Or are you just nervous of other dogs?  Drop me a PM if you want to meet :)
