Title: Found my way back

Former highly active member here... lost contact due to only having internet on my phone, and general life with a dog, a cat and 2 children.
Have returned with a sad update on Honey, who we unfortunately had to say goodbye to 3 weeks ago.  :'(

Sincere condolences for your loss.  However, welcome back!  Glad that a former regular member has returned to the forum.  Things have been very slack around these parts lately...

Oh no Claire, I am so sorry you have lost Honey.   :'(   It's so tough, but what wonderful, caring home you gave her. So many of the original COL cockers have left us now  :'( :'(

We’re making plans for a new addition - though probably not until next year.  :luv:  Even without the current issues from Coronavirus, the children need to feel we’re not replacing Honey, and we can take the opportunity to do some of those longer day trips that aren’t possible with a dog in the house!

Children definitely want a puppy (and with 2 children and a cat in the picture, rescues aren’t going to be a realistic option for us anyway!). We are giving the eventual choice of breed to Amelia, as it will officially be her pet (though we will give her a shortlist and another cocker is definitely on there) - and in the meantime I can get my canine fix here (and on Facebook!).

Sorry to hear about Honey. But rest assured she has already picked her replacement and arranged the date. She knew when you all would be ready to do it all again  :luv:
