I forgot to mention that the box also contains a Basic Camera User Guide, so novices needn't be daunted by the bigger manual.  The basic guide lets you get to grips with the camera right away.

I really like the camera!! I've just put some photos of Jerry into the photo section (solids). Still practicing ...but I'm wildly determined to work myself through the entire "advanced guide"  ::)
