Camera ppl - help!
« on: January 15, 2009, 09:03:40 PM »
I know there are lots of camera threads on the review section but not sure if this should go there or not (sorry mods if it does)

I have a Canon S3 IS (see review)

http://www.dpreview.com/news/0602/06022111canons3is.asp

And I'm sure it can do loads of fancy snazzy things and I'm wasting it (I tend to stick on on auto or sport tbh) but..

nearly all my action shots come out blury! which annoys me when taking ones of the dogs playing.
also it seems to have a long delay between me pressing button and camera taking the shot.

I know it's not exactly 'new' and there is probably not all that much I can do (save getting a new camera but thats well out the window for now)

but does anyone have any tips/pointers for improving what I already have? (and please don't say look in the manual.. IF I ever find it again it will be just as confusing as the first time I picked it up!)
