'Baby' Georgia in season so young
« on: April 14, 2011, 06:55:18 PM »
Feeling a bit sad for Georgia.....our baby has come into season at just 8 mths old  :'(
She just seems too young  :'(  I thought her behaviour today was a bit out of character, as she kept pushing her bottom towards Nina & has suddenly started looking at her longingly.  :005:
We were so looking forward to taking her to Windsor Gundog Show nxt week too.  :016:
I don't know why i'm posting this....just feel sad about it & so hoped she would be a little older before she became a 'lady'  :016:

OMG Wendy! And I thought Teva was young at 9 1/2 months :o She will be just fine, and even though you are saying goodbye to your 'little girl' you will be saying 'hello' to a lovely young lady in a few weeks time :luv:
Do you need to borrow a crate?! :D

It does seem so young when they are still puppies, I didn't like it when Indie came into season at 7 months as thought she was far too young for that.   Like everyone says, you'll be able to enjoy the summer shows.

Ebby had her first season at just 9 months and I remember being soo sad for her. I know they can have them from 6 months but all other dogs we have had have been about 18 months so I felt she had been cheated. Mind you she is 2 1/2 now and I still see her as my little baby :luv: :luv:

Grace also had her first season at 8 months and her second 8 months after that - like you, I was also quite upset for my little girl!
