Antler Dog Chew
« on: July 18, 2012, 08:15:35 PM »
Sandon is only 9 weeks but is chewing and eating EVERYTHING!!!! I was expecting it but didnt quite realise his need to eat everything in site!
I have been looking at the antler dog chews on eco-dog-has anyone ever used them/have any experience of them? I thought it would be something nice for him to get his teeth into!

My old Cocker Basil (12) isn't that fussed but is due to go in and have his teeth done so might find them a bit uncomfortable at the moment. My Papillon quite likes to chew his every now and then. I had wondered at what age they can have them as Alfie is 8 weeks and I think he would quite like a chew. He has a nylabone and toys at the moment. I have seen lots of people whose dogs love them though and they are very healthy too  :D

Mum also to Basil - Black show type DOB 31/03/2000 and Eddie - Brown and white sable Papillon DOB 01/01/2011

Saffy wasn't sure of it at first, but I put some of her toothpaste on the ends and that encouraged her.  She now really likes her Stag bar

Split camp in this house  ;) worth a try though :D
I've always given my dogs 'pizzles' when they were pups - they stink but are long lasting, and don't splinter  :D

I can recommend the pizzles. Max's stag bar is sitting in his toy box hardly touched. The pizzles however are a hit. Just don't tell any kids what they are as my two love telling all our visitors what the dog is chewing to see their reaction!!!
