You can bath her now. The breeder bathed Riley a few days before he came to us at about 9 weeks too.

Yep, my breeder bathed the pups - in her kitchen sink - on the morning of their collection. He was 6 weeks old and smelled of blueberries  :005: :luv:
I bathed him myself at about 8 weeks.

I agree it's fine to give a puppy a bath and in this hot weather getting cold is not such an issue. Too much shampooing on a dog of any age can strip out essential oils though. I give a rinse of paws and tummy only when needed as puppies seem oblivious to walking through their own wee - definitely wiffy!

Make sure you use a dog shampoo and not a human one. I'm sure you should be able to get a gentle puppy shampoo somewhere local to you.

Pets at home do one if you have one locally :)

I bathed Raffi in the sink the second day i got him as he was very whiffy!

Then about 4 days later he finished up having a shower as well, as i was showering down my lab after she had been in the River Soar (quite low so really skanky) and Raff stood underneath her whilst i was doing it, so I showered him instead as he seemed to be enjoying it.

You can get dog shampoo without detergent in it so it will not dry out the coat.

At least you can let your puppy dry naturally in this lovely weather.  If using a dryer, be very careful, as they burn so easily.

Picture please of the newly bathed puppy.  :005: :005:

I bathed Alfie in the sink at 9 weeks too, using puppy shampoo. :) I think it's important that you get them used to bathing and water from an early age, so they are not afraid of water and baths when they are older. My Alfie loves being washed and blow dried.
