Ollie-West Yorkshire dog rescue REHOMED
« on: July 31, 2009, 02:36:14 PM »
Crossposted from another forum. Make sure you read his story at the bottom, unbelievable!!!

For information on how to adopt please visit:
http://www.westyorkshiredogrescue.co.uk/

Quote from: Raiye's Mum
Ollie is looking for his forever home

He is about 10 mths old, house-trained, knows his basic commands, walks perfectly on a lead (a friends little lad walked him with no probs and he's only 8 yrs old) travels as if he's not there and loves kids, cats, dogs, ferrets, people and EVERYONE  :!:

He is not food agressive (even shared his dinner with my kitten  ) and takes food so gently and will beg for it if asked.
He picks things up sooo quickly and has learnt to 'ask' for treats - although he does have a tendency to grumble-in-his-boots if you make him speak toooo often

He is quite matted and will need a proper groom or shave but he loves the attention so that will not cause any problems when it's done.

He is being rehomed via West Yorkshire Dog Rescue
Soooo if you are interested give me a shout

His story ...

He's lovely, what a sweet looking boy and an unbelievable story :o >:D  I don't see any working Cocker in him from the photos, he looks completely show type to me so must be illegally docked or Irish bred. I'm sure he won't be waiting long for a new home, he sounds amazing! :luv: :luv:

OMG. My son and I have just discussed this darling, but we feel he will be snapped up really quickly and would he like Rufus and vice versa? So reluctantly I will not pursue him and stick to my determination to get Rufus's recall sorted before no.2 joins us.

He is gorgeous. I can't believe the past owners (can't call them carers or parents) would try to do such an awful thing.
