Is that how you get the head nice and smooth?? My old dog Rosie's head used to look a mess! Could always tell id been at her with the scissors, Bless her! :luv:
Michele:
If you lay the ear out flat with your other hand you should find it easier to get any flicked up bits (technical expression :005:)

I had a go, and although not perfect, she looks much better than before. I feel a bit braver now. I was expecting to be able to handstrip further down.
Thanks Michelle.
(Although Teal looked like a haystack tonight :lol2: as she had been rolling in the field and managed to collect all the dried grass in her coat!)
Michele:
Good on you for having a go, practice makes perfect as they say. :shades:
Don't know where abouts you live but maybe you'd like to come along to this

Hi, I'd spotted that in Dog World and thought it sounded good. I'm in North Lincolnshire so it's a bit too far to go! We'll keep practising.
Thanks for your help. (COL' great isn't it? Especially for the likes of me who is surrounded by blooming collies)
