Webcam.

Hi All. hope you're all well. This is probably a longshot, I'm wondering if it's possible to view the built in webcam on my laptop using my Samsung android phone. This sounds soppy but I'd like to check in on Oscar when we have to leave him for an hour.

Not sure if you can or it will work but its a idea.

If you can get a skype app for your phone you will be able to. Or i could with a iphone you would need to set up a different account and then set up a call before you go out.

Yes you can.  I used SKJM's iCam on my laptop with my iPhone and internet browser at work before I bought the dedicated wireless webcams and it worked a treat (you also get the audio without any hassle).  I noticed that they did release an android version on the Google Play store so give it a try: http://skjm.com/icam/
