Win Zip - Help please
« on: May 30, 2012, 08:45:58 PM »
My school uses Lisol (internal mail system) which we can remote access off the school website. When I've tried to access my mail today my laptop won't open attachments - they download as normal but then I have a 'Winzip window' open (which appears to be an advert) - is there some software I can download to open my attachments?

My laptop is running Windows 7  :D

Thanks

Do you have winzip installed on the PC? Windows xp and onwards shouldn't need any software for zip archives as they natively support it. What icon do the files have when downloaded? If you eight click and go to new, do you have the option to create a new compressed folder?
