Title: Tess's first agility class
Post by: bella15 on August 05, 2009, 08:15:33 PM
After taking Tess around a 'have a go' agility ring in June which she loved, I finally found an agility class for Tess to attend ,run by the dog trainer(also Dog Behaviourist)  whose classes I go to with Holly and yesterday  evening was the first class  :D. We both enjoyed it very much  .She enjoyed the low jumps & the tunnels (I did not think she would) - next week we will also be doing the weave poles which we all just walked in between to get the dogs  used to them.

Well done you two. Rufus and I love agility. He was a bit wild to begin with but now he is really good. I have to deliberately slow him down as he tries to race me! We have such fun and it is really good for socialisation too. We go once a week and once a term there is a half day training session with a different trainer which is useful, and once a term there is a fun night which we love. Have fun!

Good for you, it's nice when you find something you enjoy and do well at

Tilly has just started agility too, and she loves it to bits.  It's lovely that both you and Tess are enjoying yourselves  :D.  I think I definitely need to work on my fitness as Tilly whizzes around at top speed and I struggle to keep up with her!  She went on the see-saw this week - not at all bothered by it, although the trainer did ensure it didn't go down with a bump!  Her favourite is the dog-walk!

Have fun!
